For 17 years I was on the other side of the clipboard. As a construction manager in Naples, I ran residential and commercial projects from planning through completion — coordinating architects, engineers, subcontractors and inspectors, managing budgets and schedules, and closing out 17 years without a single lost-time accident on my sites.

That background changes what an inspection looks like. I don't just note that something is wrong — I know how it was installed, why it failed, what it takes to fix, and what it should cost. When I flag an issue, you're getting an assessment from someone who has hired the crews, pulled the permits, and stood on the roof.

In 2019 I moved into inspections full time here in Punta Gorda, handling residential and commercial inspections along with Wind Mitigation and 4-Point reports for insurance. I'm also an FAA Part 107 certified Remote Pilot, so roofs get documented from the air — clear imagery of ridges, valleys, flashing and storm damage that a ladder and a phone camera can't capture. In a market where roof condition drives both your insurance premium and your closing timeline, that matters.

I'm a Florida Licensed Home Inspector (HI-14017), I passed the National Home Inspector Examination, and I'm background-screened at the highest available rating. I work with buyers, sellers, agents and contractors across Charlotte County and Southwest Florida — and I'll take the time to walk you through what I found, in plain language, before you have to make a decision on it.
